劉國滄 為打開聯合工作室主持人、副教授,專長為建築理論與創作、藝術創作。

打開聯合由劉國滄擔任設計總監。帶領平均年齡僅30歲的團隊,雖創立於台灣的古都台南,卻屢屢能跨越時空與文化的限制,多次受邀國際展覽,曾於威尼斯、巴黎、米蘭、柏林、多倫多、名古屋、北京、深圳等城市間展出。

作品被評選為The Worldwide Architecture. The next generation 40件國際設計界代表作品之一,兩度獲選台灣建築獎(2013特別獎、2012佳作獎),兩度獲邀參與威尼斯雙年展(2006建築雙年展、2011藝術雙年展)。2014年起於大陸福州市進行的嵩口千年古鎮改造,被譽為「嵩口模式」。

曾獲2015亞洲最具影響力設計大獎(林百貨)、2015日本名古屋街景設計貢獻獎、2015北京設計週最佳人氣項目、2012德國DMY設計節十大評審推薦獎、2006「億載金城歷史公園」國際競圖首獎、2012文化部公共藝術獎-最佳創意表現獎,是設計界看好的青年團隊。2022入圍文化部公共藝術獎-環境融合獎。創作作品與創新理念深獲肯定,獲《Shopping Design》之年度設計師&年度最佳設計團隊、《LA VIE》之年度最佳文創平台、《經理人月刊》之台灣MVP百大經理人,是享譽國內外的團隊。

重要作品包含安平樹屋(2003)、藍晒圖系列(2004~)、鹿港凳屋(2007)、佳佳西市場旅店系列(2009~)、世界交鋒設計大展-百大設計師聯展(2011)、林百貨(2014)、大陸嵩口古鎮改造(2014~)、2018屏東落山風國際藝術季策劃執行(Lavi 台灣年度十佳展覽),以及多次台灣燈會總規劃,推動燈會創新轉型。

團隊作品涵蓋城鄉規劃、策展、空間裝置、傢俱、室內、商空、建築、景觀、社區營造、創意商品等領域。目前正往以下三個方向前進:

1 關於形式生成邏輯的發現、

2 關於建造方法與程序的實驗、

3 關於社區自主營造體系的實現。

Liu kuo-chang is the host of OU Studio, a design team based in Tainan, Taiwan. The studio was self-renovated by its members, transforming a dilapidated century-old building into a creative workspace. Liu specializes in architectural theory, creative practice, and art, leading a team with an average age of just 30. Though founded in Tainan, OU Studio frequently transcends temporal and cultural boundaries, receiving invitations to international exhibitions in cities such as Venice, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Toronto, Nagoya, Beijing, and Shenzhen.

Studio work has been selected as one of the 40 representative projects in “The Worldwide Architecture." He has won the Taiwan Architecture Award twice (Special Award in 2013, Merit Award in 2012) and has been invited to participate in the Venice Biennale on two occasions (Architecture Biennale in 2006 and Art Biennale in 2011). Since 2014, his project for the renovation of Songkou, a millennium-old town in Fuzhou, China, has been praised as the “Songkou Model." He has also received the 2015 Asia’s Most Influential Design Award (Lin Department Store), the 2015 Nagoya Street Design Contribution Award, the Best Popular Project at Beijing Design Week 2015, the Top Ten Jury Recommendation Award at the 2012 DMY International Design Festival in Germany, the First Prize in the “Yizai Jincheng Historical Park" international competition in 2006, and the Best Creative Performance Award from the Ministry of Culture’s Public Art Award in 2012, establishing him as a promising young figure in the design field.

Key works include the Anping Tree House (2003), the Blue Print series (2004–present), the Lugang Bench House (2007), the Jiajiaxi Market Hotel series (2009–present), the World Design Clash – Top 100 Designers Exhibition (2011), Lin Department Store (2014), the renovation of Songkou Ancient Town (2014–present), the planning and execution of the 2018 Pingtung Luoshanguan International Art Season, and multiple total planning projects for Taiwan’s Lantern Festival, promoting innovation and transformation in the festival.

The team’s work covers various fields, including urban and rural planning, curation, spatial installations, furniture, interior design, architecture, landscape, and community development. Currently, they are advancing in three directions: 1.Realizing community self-building systems. 2.Discovering the logic of formal generation; 3.Experimenting with construction methods and processes;
